‘Under The Table’ is the new single from up and coming quartet Balancing Act. It’s a tense, slow-paced cut that does away with their higher energy recent tracks, and replaces it with a bass-driven romp. The track slowly wanders from its thick bass line and tight drum groove, past jangly guitars and conversational vocals, into a climax filled with cinematic passion. On the video that accompanies the track, director Max dos Santos says: “The video is filled with clever plot twists, quick cuts, and tense moments, as the band manoeuvres through the chaotic underworld with unexpected betrayals and turns at every corner.” The band are releasing their sophomore EP, Tightropes and Limericks, on October 4th, via The Vertex. -Dan Peeke
